Let`s have a league table for government performance

Wouldn`t it be nice to have solid annual indicators of how good or bad the current government is doing.

With consistent annual indicators which league would this lot be in?

Would the following be useful?

To have all indicators independently monitored and the parameters kept unchanged.
Monitoring the tax free date.
This is the date , independently published each year, that if we have paid all our money towards taxation first, the rest of the year is free of tax.
The earlier in the year this date falls, is the measure of our governments fiscal efficiency.
Monitoring our standard of living compared to other European contries?
Montitoring the estimated measure of UK Government waste by the European Central Bank - currently £80 billion per year - 2006.
Monitoring the cost of all government employees as a percentage of GNP (Gross National Product)
