Efficiency.
This country’s police force was once renowned around the world for efficiency and fair play. For whatever reason this is no longer the case.
The Police Commission should address this as a matter of urgency.
Traditionally the police force in this country works to enforce the law, independent of government, whereas in Europe the tradition is that the police work for the government. This long held tradition in the UK appears to be changing and could have far reaching consequences.
The police should be independent.
