A waste of time and money?

Local government’s main tasks are to run local services – a task which could be run more efficiently by a structure common to the private service industry.

Provided there is a good customer complaint procedure with local community groups included, there would be no need for local politicians. Do you agree?
Traffic Flow.
Local councils were responsible for ensuring that traffic moved quickly, safely and efficiently through boroughs for the benefit of business and residents.

The emphasis now seems to be on slowing traffic down and closing roads to vehicles and this has increased significantly the average journey times.

The same number of vehicles are now spending more time on the road for the same journey, therefore increasing pedestrian danger and emission pollution.
The councils should prioritise increasing traffic flow. Do you agree?
Cycle Lanes.
Local government is paid by central government, with our money, to provide cycle lanes. These cycle lanes and routes should be away from all roads and not just painted on roads and pavements.
Do you agree?
Bus lanes cause traffic congestion for all other vehicles. Do you agree?
Bus lanes causes traffic congestion for all vehicles including buses. Do you agree?
